Our Associates

Liddell Thomson, our sister company, Spreng & Co, and our partner company, Kynesis, are all integrated in our offices in Glasgow.

Spreng & Co was formed with corporate communications professional, Callum Spreng, in response to clients' increased demand for strategic and tactical press and new media services. Spreng & Co is led by Managing Director, Callum Spreng, one of Scotland's most experienced corporate communicators.

       

Callum Spreng

    

Originally a journalist, he has hands-on communications experience in a broad range of business sectors including financial services, media and pharmaceuticals. He was Head of Communications at insurance giant, General Accident plc up to and during its merger with Commercial Union. He was then Group Communications Director at media business, SMG plc, where he directed the Group’s communications through one of the most exciting periods in the history of the media sector. Subsequently he was Corporate Communications Director at Scottish specialty pharmaceuticals company, ProStrakan Group plc, who have joined Spreng & Co as a client. He has advised senior executives and devised and executed communications strategies for mergers, acquisitions, disposals, fund-raising, hostile defences, international expansions and product launches.

Kynesis is Chaired and advised by Eric Hagman CBE, former managing partner of Arthur Andersen in and now a non-executive director of several quoted companies.  

Caroline Donaldson
         
One of the founding directors of Kynesis. Her background combines 18 years of consultancy with senior line management experience in operations, sales, human resources and retail in blue chip companies. Caroline is head of the Coaching Practice. Her clients include Centrica, Smiths Group, Golden Charter, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Montgomery Watson Harza, KPMG, Deloittes, Biggart Baille and the Royal Bank of Scotland .

Paul Foley

One of the founding directors of Kynesis. Paul has co-ordinated change programmes for both local and international businesses over the past 17 years. He works extensively with senior teams across a wide variety of sectors. His clients include Rolls Royce, the NHS, Scottish Executive, BAE, Aker Kvaerner and GSL. He is a member of the CBI Scotland Council.

Rob Priestley 

Rob has experience working closely with the construction and property industries. In Kynesis, he has worked with both Public & Private sector clients on a range of projects. Prior to joining Kynesis, Rob worked in management in a variety of recruitment and sales roles.

Ros Halliday

The office manager and PA to the Directors. Ros has over 10 years experience at Executive assistant level with skills in project management and events organisation. Ros manages the Kynesis diary and client database.

Eric Hagman CBE
 
Eric Hagman
, former Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen in Scotland, holds a number of non-executive directorships in companies. He is Chairman of Aon, and Glen Group, a director of British Polythene Industries plc and Saints plc and a member of the Board and Senate of the Royal College of Art. Previously he was a non-executive Director of Celtic FC and the Scottish Rugby Union.
