Straight Talking

Liddell Thomson designed the Straight Talking initiative to highlight the challenges community representatives were facing in North Ayrshire and to make some recommendations about how North Ayrshire Council (NAC) might address these challenges. The project involved facilitating six community sessions across North Ayrshire with more than 350 individuals representing a wide range of organisations.

Following the sessions Liddell Thomson compiled a detailed report bringing together the key points emerging from all six Straight Talking events and making some recommendations. This will help NAC and its partners when prioritising initiatives and projects as part of the long term planning process.

The fascinating, lively and challenging series of events provided a wealth of ideas about how people in North Ayrshire might work differently together to create and deliver key services across the area.
